My name is Drew Christensen, I am the co-owner of Veritas Homes. I am originally from Seattle, WA, so was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After high school, I relocated to Minneapolis, MN to start a new chapter. That is where I met my now wife, Sophie and I decided to move to Ann Arbor in the spring of 2022 after getting married.

I got my passion for remodeling and construction from working with my dad on our home growing up. This lead to an interest in many different trades like welding, carpentry and plumbing. With experience in a variety of fields, I decided to pursue carpentry with an emphasis in remodeling. I enjoy creating spaces that foster environments for friends and family to come together and create lasting memories.

After working for a couple of different construction companies, I have been fortunate to work with great mentors and peers who have helped to create high quality of work standards and a strict work ethic. I have felt especially blessed by the managers of those companies who showed a dedication to customer care and honesty, an environment I hope to create in Veritas Homes. While I would have loved to continue working at my previous company, Sophie’s job with Treeline Church brought us to Ann Arbor. The move felt like a good time to take the experience I have gained and to start a company where I could create an impact on the community.
